gift-guide

Happy (almost) holidays everyone! To celebrate ringing in the winter season, I have teamed up with one of my best friends Sami of The Classic Brunette to bring you gift guides for this year! Read on below to see my suggestions for a perfectly equestrian gift-giving season ❅

Less Expensive

The first item in our less expensive section is the Herschel Supply Classic Hunt 21L Backpack for all you school and show-going riders out there! This backpack is super roomy with enough space for a laptop, notebooks, or even show clothes, and even better it’s currently on sale! I own one myself and love the classic fox-hunting print, it adds an equestrian touch to any outfit. $14.97

The second item is the Sport Horse Lifestyle Key Chain. It’s no secret that I love this company, and I think these leather key chains are perfect for holding on to your car or house keys! $12

The last item in this section is an absolute necessity if you love to drink coffee, tea, or hot chocolate: the KeepCup! This nifty cup is barista-approved and fully customizable, plus it keeps your drinks hot for days. How cute would this be in your barn or show colors? $14

Moderately Expensive

My first moderately expensive gift are these adorable Ride & Ride Lounge Pants from Back in the Saddle. Shown here with their matching quarter zip, these not only look like the coziest sweatpants around, but would also be perfect for holiday photo-ops and wearing over breeches that you don’t want to risk getting dirty! $24.95

The second gift is the Show Vibes Slouchy Pullover from The Hunt Club. I saw this gem on Instagram and knew I had to include it-I mean, look at how cute the design is! I know if I got this for the holidays I would never want to take it off, whether I was at the barn or out for lunch with friends. $48

Splurge

My first splurge suggestion are these Ovation Country Boots in the Rhona style. While on the more expensive end, these boots are literally lifesavers when it comes to doing barn chores or being at show grounds in the rain. These were the closest match I could find to my pair of Ovation boots, and I wear mine constantly year-round: they’re the best! $199.95

The second gift idea is a subscription to Hoofprint by Valencia Sport Saddlery. Imagine a personal shopper-equestrian stylist-tack shop all rolled into one, and then imagine that being delivered to your door. That’s Hoofprint, a personalized concierge service run by local (and my personal favorite) shop VSS. These are yearly subscriptions, but are also available to be bought one-time-only as a custom gift: it’s up to you! Trust me, this is one gift that will keep on giving. $500+

And finally, my last gift idea is the “Silvan” Nameplate Necklace by Show Stable Artisans. Fear not, this is a fully customizable sterling silver necklace that can fit any name of your choosing. Favorite pony’s name? Check. Barn name? Check. Last name? Check. While on the admittedly pricey side for a necklace, its quality is incredible and it is a true statement piece for anyone. $225
